A Few Of Our Recent Projects
A large project (R2.5M) was executed at the very sensetive “Hartbeeshoek Radio Station”. The project involve major excavations into the mountain with large retaing block walls and reinforced concrete work. After completion of the construction work, we did rehabilitation to the surrounding areas.
Erection of a reinforced concrete building (R 1.5M) with a lattace mast on the roof of the building – at Mazunga. Again this was in a private game reserve, on top of a mountain. After completion, the area were restored to its original condition.
A Storm water reticulation system was installed in the Telkom HQ Building, while occupied. (R 3.5M) It involved core drilling through 68 floors and the installation of high density 250 mm pipes from the roof top, to the basement.
Building Work : (During the last 2 years)
Statutory Compliance Project, for Telkom – the South Tower (R 15 M) With the main focus on installing fire doors, fire seals and smoke barriers in a 34 story building, with the main challenge – to do the work, while the building being occupied.
Among other houses, a New recedance for Jaco Engels (Bulls Player) in an up market estate in the eastern suburbs of Pretoria.
Various space optimization projects, with the biggest one in Pretoria (The van Wyk & Louw move R 3.5 M).
Internal Building Work : (Main focus on floors, drywalls, ceilings, paintwork and wallpaper).
23rd and 24th floor installations in the TTN Building. This was for the managing executive and top management of Telkom SA. The work comprises of 7 shield stretch carpets, curved bulkheads with stainless and glass profiles. Solid core maple doors with decor range wallpaper.
We were 1 of 4 preffered contractors, to build some Telkom Direct shops (32) and Telkom 8-Ta shops (8) and the newest Telkom Mobile Shops (4) and Capitec Banks. These shops were mainley located in large shopping centres, like Sandton and Menlyn. The project included the Mechanical, electrical, security, fire detection, fire protection, shopfitting, shopfronts, electronic and survialance as well as the normal building work. Project value range from R 2 M to R 5 M.
Roseville Yard. (R 6 M). The challenge was to take one of the largest workshops, and convert it into office space with little structural changes. Specialist include torch-on waterproofing and welded V/A sheeting's.
